Dillon Imagine for Jessica
So I wrote this little imagine for Jessica (popecaniff) and I really hope she likes it! Enjoy, sweetheart! :) If anyone else wants an imagine, you can message me if you’d like!
Jessica shimmies herself into her skin tight jeans, trying to get ready for a party she and Dillon are supposed to be going to soon, but it’s proving to be a tad difficult. She groans to herself as she stares at herself in the mirror. She shakes her head quickly and hurries to take the jeans and shirt off and tosses them on the bed along with the other clothes he has tried on and ripped off from disapproval.
"Babe!" Dillon calls from the hall. "C’mon! We’ve gotta go! We’re gonna be late!" Jessica rubs her temples with her fingers and groans.
"Still getting ready!" she yells back. She runs back into her closet to try and find another outfit, but nothing seems right. She screams in frustration. Why can’t she just find the perfect outfit? Suddenly, out of nowhere, she hears someone playing guitar from behind. She whips around to see Dillon sitting on the edge of the bed by Jessica’s discarded clothes, staring at her lovingly.
Your hand fits in mine like it’s made just for me But bear this in mind, it was meant to be And I’m joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks And it all makes sense to me I know you’ve never loved the crinkles by your eyes when you smile You never loved your stomach or your thighs The dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine But I’ll love them endlessly
Jessica cracks a half smile and stares at her feet. Dillon smiles as well and keeps going.
I won’t let these little things slip out of my mouth But if I do It’s you It’s you they add up to I’m in love with you and all these little things
Dillon stands up and continues to play.
You can’t go to bed without a cup of tea And maybe that’s the reason that you talk in your sleep And all those conversations are the secrets that I keep Though it makes no sense to me
Jessica laughs a little. “Do I really talk in my sleep?” she asks him. Dillon laughs out loud.
I know you’ve never loved the sound of your voice on tape You never want to know how much you weigh You still have to squeeze into your jeans But you’re perfect to me
Jessica can feel her nose burn a little and her eyes are welling up with tears, and she tries desperately to keep them in. Dillon is now standing right in front of her and continuing to play.
I won’t let these little things slip out of my mouth But if it’s true It’s you It’s you they add up to I’m in love with you And all these little things You’ll never love yourself half as much as I love you And you’ll never treat yourself right, darling, but I want you to. If I let you know I’m here for you Maybe you’ll love yourself like I love you, oh And I’ve just let these little things slip out of my mouth ‘Cause it’s you Oh, it’s you It’s you they add up to And I’m in love with you And all these little things
I won’t let these little things slip out of my mouth But if it’s true It’s you, It’s you they add up to I’m in love with you And all your little things
As Dillon strums the last chord, Jessica is crying and can’t seem to make herself stop. Dillon cups her cheeks in his large hands and wipes away the tears from her face. He doesn’t say anything else. He lays his guitar on the ground and leans in to kiss her. The kiss is sweet and lovely and everything Jessica really needs right now. Dillon moves his hands down to her thighs right below her ass and mumbles, “Jump.”
"Only if you can actually hold me up," Jessica scoffs. Dillon shrugs and picks her up without a sound or a flinch, while Jessica is squealing and fidgeting all over the place. Once she’s stopped, Dillon is smirking at her.
"Well, would you look at that? I’m not having any trouble whatsoever." And he’s not. Jessica blushes. "Let’s just skip the party and stay in. I’m in the mood to be with my girl tonight. Other people can wait. How does that sound?"
"Sounds like perfection to me."
"That’s what you sound like to me." Jessica giggles a little and pecks him on the lips.
"What would I do without you?"
"I know I’d be a mess without you. You’d do fine without me." Jessica shakes her head.
"I couldn’t survive without you."
"I couldn’t survive without you either." Dillon kisses her again before blindly carrying her to the bed. He chucks the clothes all on the floor and lies Jessica down on the bed. He moves around the room to turn off the lights and light up a few candles here and there before hovering over Jessica again.
"I love you," he mumbles into her neck. "So much." He kisses her weak spot on her neck. She sighs.
"I love you, too, Dillon. More than you’ll ever know."
