Day 1 of 12 Days of Bieber: Decorating the House
[see complete list here]
“Justin!” I shout from downstairs as I stand on a step stool with a frown on my face. I hear his feet race down the stairs and into the living room and soon enough he is standing only ten feet away from me. He looks at me worriedly.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” he asks. I cross my arms over my chest like a child.
“I can't reach the top of the tree,” I mumble sadly as I hold the star in my hand. Justin begins to laugh as he walks over to me.
“Here. Let me help.” He turns around right in front of me and squats down. “Get on my shoulders.” I raise an eyebrow at him.
“I’m gonna break your neck.”
“You're a fucking feather, y/n. Now hurry up because we have a whole lot more decorating to do.” I roll my eyes and finally decide to climb onto his shoulders. I squeal and wrap myself around his head when he stands up a little too quickly. Justin laughs loudly while untangling my arms and legs from around his face. “Relax, ok? I’m not gonna let you fall.”
“Boy, if you let me fall, I am going to beat your raggedy homeless chic ass like my momma would do when I was being bad.” Justin wraps his arms around my thighs to hold me in place and looks up at me with a smirk.
“So basically you would spank my ass?” I swear to Jesus...
“Quit playing and let me put the star on the tree, freak.” Justin turns to face the tree so I can put the star up.
“You love that I’m a freak.”
“Why are you like this?” I try to put the star up, but it ends up looking crooked. “Move a little more to the left.” Justin does as I say.
“Why are you not like this?” he asks.
“Because I was raised right and holy.”
“You don't act holy.” I roll my eyes and take a deep breath through my nose before leaning in to put the star on the tree again. I adjust it slightly so that it looks better, and it finally stands perfectly up tall. I smile and clap happily at the sight. “How does it look?”
“Perfect.”
“I wanna see.” Justin walks backwards a few steps so he can look up at the tree. I look down at him and watch him grin proudly at the beautiful Christmas tree in the corner of his enormous living room. “What a beautiful tree.” I nod slowly in agreement as a Christmas carol plays in the background. This really is the most wonderful time of the year because I get to spend it with the most annoying, ridiculous, loyal, beautiful human being on the planet. No matter how much he seems to annoy me, I love him all the same and would never change him.
Suddenly Justin claps his hands loudly together once. “Alright, onto the other parts of the house that need to be decorated!” he exclaims as he squats back down and lets me off his shoulders. I frown and roll my eyes as he grabs the box of gold garland and runs over to the staircase to decorate it. He is such a child sometimes, but that’s what I signed up for when I started dating him two years ago. I got what I asked for.
And I couldn't ask for anything or anyone else to make me happy like he does.
day one is complete! day two will be posted sometime tomorrow after my psychology final! wish me luck!
