В чёрном парке мы весну встречали, Тихо врал копеечный смычок, Смерть спускалась на воздушном шаре, Трогала влюблённых за плечо.

Розов вечер, розы носит ветер, На полях поэт рисунок чертит. Розов вечер, розы пахнут смертью И зелёный снег идёт на ветви.

Тёмный воздух осыпает звёзды, Соловьи поют, моторам вторя, И в киоске над зелёным морем Полыхает газ туберкулёзный.

Корабли  отходят в небе звёздном, На мосту платками машут духи, И, сверкая через темный воздух, Паровоз поёт на виадуке.

Тёмный город убегает в горы, Ночь шумит у танцевальной залы И солдаты, покидая город, Пьют густое пиво у вокзала.

Низко, низко, задевая души, Лунный шар плывёт над балаганом, А с бульвара под орган тщедушный Машет карусель руками дамам.

И весна, бездонно розовея, Улыбаясь, отступая в твердь, Раскрывает тёмно-синий веер С надписью отчётливою: смерть.
