Heya naff got a lil question, (sorry if you've already answered this)

How and if yes- would orca! Eclipse change his approach to be more gentle if photographer y/n had anxiety issues or severe trauma with touch?

Very curious how his new approach to woo and keep y/n would change and adapt over this issue

There's going to be a mistake he makes, just like in AP itself, Eclipse is overbearing and scary. He only stops grabbing Y/N and pulling them closer when they voice how much they don't like it. For anxiety issues or severe trauma with touch Y/N, it's going to be rough.

The first few encounters are even more horrifying. Y/N would be panic-stricken and overwhelmed while Eclipse tries to use force to calm them, but, of course, that doesn't go over well. Eclipse grows frustrated before putting two and two together and ditching the manhandling (though he really, really wants to keep grabbing Y/N) for less intense methods of approach. He'd urge them closer with gestures and words, and try to pinpoint their limits and boundaries (within reason for him, of course).

He doesn't want touch to be scary for Y/N. Touch is so important to Eclipse. He'd work slowly with you, asking if he could touch you, asking if you could hold hands, or if it would feel better if you touched him instead. If you refuse, he urges firmly, but if he can't pressure you, he settles for having himself as close as possible to you without actually touching your body. He lays his arms around you on the ice but doesn't bump against your Arctic gear.

He does insist you make progress, that you try just a little more each time you two meet, and he would be slow, careful, watching your expression when he gathers your fingertips between his claws. He talks softly, low, singing a little to ease your terror. He promises again and again that he will take care of you and that you can adapt. You're strong. You can learn that his touch only means safety.

For context, I've been trying to get back into animation after I switched programs. This is my second attempt at animation on my pc. I'm way too shy to post the first but I really like this one. So that's why the lines are all over the place and it's more animatic like than actual animation.

Question for the Space AI AU

When reader is wandering planets/towns/ cities/ you get the idea. But when they're out and about do they have a way of contacting the boys on the ship? Or do they usually follow reader?

Because for the first option, would there ever be a situation in which the boys would hear reader get into a scuffle through the communicator? If after the falling out, how would they react? Would eclipse go out to find them?

Sorry I've been brain rotting over this idea for a while. I just think it could make a great scenario for hurt/ comfort and drama. Depending how injured reader gets.

They do have a way of keeping in contact with the boys! They can basically use the ‘key’ to the ship as a sort of,, radio to each other? Idk how to explain it

(I doodles it a lil while ago tho, hopefully this makes it a little clearer shdgdhh)

Normally, the boys have to stay with the ship, and Reader usually tells them to sit and stay anyway, BUT,, I can think of two exceptions to the rule that I’d like to include in the story!

One happens when Reader is in that one life-threatening situation, and the boys send Eclipse down to basically grab Reader and get them the hell out of there

The other happens when Reader needs to sneak into a fancy rich ppl bar to get a debt one of the patrons owes to their friend who helped fix the ship (this is basically fetch quest type shenanigans). Reader is very uncomfortable wearing Rich-People-Style clothes and, even though they are trying VERY. VERY HARD to be civil, they can’t help but be,, testy. A little rude, even. Just a little. The boys, worried for both Reader’s sake AND for the people that might potentially set them off, leave Eclipse to guard the ship and rush to the bar to act as Reader’s bodyguards. Also reader looks hot in the outfit and someone tries to flirt with them and it does not go well
