I'm back! I'm learning to draw again. I messed up a little with Nightmare, or rather with his eye, so I didn't color it, but left it as a sketch. Flowers on Dream are poppies that have conflicting meanings: - The meaning of the poppy is extremely contradictory. It can carry with it both sweet dreams, a craving for the high and a bright life full of adventures, and dope, "knife in the back" and "blindness". Mac is extremely ambivalent. "Homer compared poppies and poppies to soldiers who died on the battlefield. Which is comparable to the many losses of people and worlds in the war with Nightmer. - The poppy symbolizes cyclicity, which can be considered as the cyclicity of the Dream's battles, or the cyclicity of the Dreamer as a person, with the inability to step over himself, to get out of the role of hero and Savior. - In Christianity, the poppy was proclaimed a symbol of the Last judgment and a reminder of the sufferings of Christ. Which can also be interpreted as the suffering of the Dream, which he had to go through because of the Mirage of the worlds in the negative side(everyone will agree that most often the AU is created by a very dark plot). - The image of a poppy is a symbol of loneliness. He talks about a sentimental and vulnerable person who loves life, but chose the path of loneliness.
This is a Russian challenge and I found it interesting. Oddly enough, I liked to draw flowers, of all the drawings I like them the most.
