hMM i think i get ppl saying water every time i ask this which is interesting bc it's not how i see myself!!
actually re: mental health reblog i did first realize i had depression while reading web md when i pinged every single symptom listed. i did do more research after that and was eventually professionally diagnosed but yeah you just like said nope to my method of self diagnosis
no i didn't
i said it's not just going on webmd one time and going "omg this is totally me" while ignoring half the list
i also self diagnosed on webmd initially wrt my bipolar disorder
i wasn't trying to dismiss that at all and i'm sorry if that was unclear
webmd is kick ass
the problem is when people use it as a way to convince themselves that things are wrong with them that are not wrong with them just because they've got three out of ten symptoms (and that goes for physical conditions too obviously, i think most people with even vaguely hypochondriac tendencies have had a weird headache and a bit of stomach trouble at the same time and convinced themself they definitely had cancer or something bc their combined symptoms matched up on a webmd article)
using it as it's supposed to be used, to be the like, thing you check when you're not quite sure what's wrong and not quite sure if you should go to the doctor or not to get it checked out professionally, yeah, webmd is awesome when you use it like that, thank god for webmd
do you have a facebook page for your cosplay?
No I dont sorry ;A;

poppysaide replied to your post:i am emailing professors in the most obvious...
yeah i didn’t do a good enough job of being memorable or consistent in college (damn depression!) so even though i graduated with a good gpa it’s like whoops
yeahhh :( like i have 2 profs who i definitely connected with bc they were both my thesis advisers so i had no choice but wouldn't ya know it you need THREE so i'm like trying to get this one prof who i did LOVE but was just too intimidated to talk to more than once or twice to remember me
also it's somewhat awk when you're like SO CAN I HAVE A GRAD SCHOOL LETTER BUT ALSO I DON'T KNOW WHEN I WANT TO GO TO GRAD SCHOOL BUT PROBABLY I DO AT SOME POINT
