Don’t hit that snooze button because it’s time to rise and shine with our #sleptonsaturday pick! This week’s pick is he 2007 Adam Wingard directed film Pop Skull. For this one we went with the Valentine’s horror theme as this one involves relationships, break ups and how we get through them. Apparently not well as our main character struggles with pill popping and horrific visions. This movie has been referred to as “acid horror” as it feels more as an experience than a fluent and coherent narrative. While I was a huge fan, I understand this movie may not be for everyone, especially those who are not fan of the low budget, indie “mumblecore” movement some years back.
