From the curator's notes:

"This may have been the collection that the scientist Robert Hooke recorded seeing in 1672: 'an Indian cat, Japan peacock, porcupine, vulture, great owl and three cassowaries'. The sheet was presumably made as advertising material to attract visitors to the show."
