Flat-color commission of the client's and their friend's characters Eddie (in the blue beaded dress) and Henry (in the black suit)! These two are spiritual investigation coworkers in the 1920s, currently infiltrating a swanky masked soirée - hence the dressed-up disguises.
I'm really pleased with how Eddie's dress, in particular, came out! I tried evoking the sparkling, beaded look by layering some of my paper patterns over the lines of beading, and I think the final effect is delightful. 💙
