And The Heaven and Hell Conspired Against Us

For Popy! Happy Holidays! I hope 2018 is treating you good so far, and let's pray for a wonderful year ahead. You asked for an angel!Tsukishima and demon!Yamaguchi without changing their personalities, and my first thought is a Heaven and Hell Roman Company AU! It's a manwha, which I recommend, but its R18, so just read it when you're ready for those stuff. Still! H&H Roman Company's plot is about childhood friends that eventually got together after a series of mishaps that could be avoided if the main character is brave enough to just confess, but alas! that would be anti-climatic! Again, I wish you a good year ahead! TsukkiYama! Fighting!

FLOWER GIRL - Touka and Kaneki

The song FLOWER GIRL by Kinoko Teikoku reminds me of the peculiar relationship between Touka and Kaneki near the end of Tokyo Ghoul. I always have the bridge scene in mind when listening to this song. I think the lyrics really fit Touka’s thoughts and regrets towards Kaneki when she couldn’t do anything but watch him fall in misery.

“Please don’t go. Stay here.”

If I’d been able to say that back then,

Would things have been different?

Would something have changed?

If only I could turn back time

There is a line referring to a red flower, making me think of the red spider lily which, we know, has a deep symbolism in Tokyo Ghoul. In Japan, it’s also known as the flower of death. In Hanakotoba (japanese language of flowers) it means something along the line of “we will never meet again”.

The crazed red flower that embraced you

- this is like Touka seeing the Kaneki she always knew for the last time, witnessing his disappearance without being able to stop it.
