Might remember me from here
I've decided to share some outfit photos. I've accumulated quite a wardrobe and while I don't wear hanfu daily I wear it often. Almost never at work and much of what I do is work lol.
I will also occasionally share mild photoshoots from events or friends etc. Most of the time it's gonna be this collage style bc I don't get nice photos of the outfits.
Sometimes historical, often not accurate and mixing pieces and dynasties/wearing style. There's different ideas for wearing hanfu, but I'm not a strict traditionalist. I do think it's important to acknowledge culture and roots, but I think it's ok to mix things up as long as one acknowledges it's not trying to be historically accurate. Fashion and clothes change heck people in the past were pretty notarious about attempting older period clothes but ofc with their own ideas so this mixing isn't new. There are events that I might do where the dresscode is more historical and ones where it can be more fantastical. For just my fun dress ups I have no tight restrictions only my mood 😎
So don't take me for an expert there's people here who are much more knowledgable. I might remember to tag the pieces, but I might not. This is honestly supposed to be a low effort blog bc life is busy.
Feel free to ask me questions that I might not have answers to. I can also dig up the studios these pieces are from, but there's many so it's not getting tagged upfront.
Pieces can often be featured multiple times because I like them and this isn't a new wardrobe every season kind of deal, it's a collection.
