Has anyone noticed an increase in bot activity? I'm suddenly getting bots with no posts, all with similar vaguely sexual bios following me every day. Before it was bots with explicitly horny content that reblogged dodgy porn website links and they were only showing up every now and then.
Is anyone else getting this?

On Tuesday January 29th, 2019 Tumblr user @anadia-chan got her account hacked by a malicious pornbot blog, and has been spamming reblogs of said blog (@lovesnomore) ever since (Her last legit post was Friday January 25th, 2019). Her attempts to recover the the account have failed due to the hacker changing all the recoverable methods of doing so (password, associated email acct, etc).
So I am calling on everyone to stop using Tumblr (log out and don’t log-in) by February 2nd 2019 for two weeks in protest of Tumblr again failing its users. Also please report the blog @lovesnomore, which is the blog that the hacker is reblogging posts from. It is likely that they are in cahoots, or even the same person. If you don’t do the log out protest, then I ask that you use the time to promote @anadia-chan‘s art and posts she posted on and before January 25th, 2019 (which was before she got hacked).
THE PURGE DID NOTHING BUT GIVE WAY TO THE VERY PROBLEM THEY CLAIMED TO BE FIGHTING AGAINST. AND NOW THE PROBLEM IS ONLY GOTTEN WORSE... IT IS TIME THAT TUMBLR UNDERSTANDS AND TAKES STEPS TO CORRECT ITS ERROR, OR ELSE TUMBLR WILL SOON FIND ITSELF WITHOUT LEGIT USERS, PERIOD. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. THIS INJUSTICE TO LEGIT USERS WHO HAVE INVESTED YEARS OF WORK TO THIS SITE WILL NOT STAND!

Anyone else having a massive influx of porn bots following blogs or is it just me?
On top of that I have one particular porn bot that keeps sending me a blocked link in my DMs. And when I try to separately report it, it says the URL doesn't exist. Yet I keep getting messages from them. Staff needs to do something about this...

Depressing number of Pornbots
It’s all that follows me these days. tumblr, you had one job!
Does anyone know if reporting them before you block them actually does anything?
I know my writing is sexy, but can the pornbots please stop following me?
