I’m back from my weeklong road trip down to the United States of America. Among many amazing places I visited, Canepa was easily one of the best. Another multimillion dollar Porsche racecar at Canepa - the 1973 Porsche 917/30 - this is considered ultimate evolution of the 917. The air-cooled twin turbo flat 12 engine pumped out around 1100hp and claimed to reach 200mph in just 13.4 seconds! While the car was set to win the next season of the CANAM Cup, a change in racing regulations meant the car was not suitable for the championship and would be disqualified before it set out on track.
