1965 Prince R380. The Porsche-killer. This car claimed the top two spots in the 1966 Japanese Grand Prix, and left tears in the eyes of the three Porsche 906s in its wake. Prince (which was later bought by Nissan) built only four of these 200-hp racers. None of them ever made it to U.S. soil until this year's @ameliaislandconcours. This weekend you'll be able to breathe in its history when Infiniti displays it at the @pebblebeachconcours. I shot this during my recent drive in Tennessee with the updated Infiniti Q50. The R380 is one of those cars that has an aura akin to the Ford GT40. Infiniti can trace its roots back to this machine. If they were ever to build an R8- or NSX-fighter, it would have to be inspired by this.——————————————————————— #Racecar #Japanese #Infiniti #Classic #Vintage #Cars #InstaGood #Prince #InstaLike #InstaCars #GetOutandDrive #CarsWithoutLimits #DriveTastefully #WellTravelled #Nissan #Winning @Porsche #PorscheKiller (at Greystone, Tennessee)
