Finally finished up my personal project! It was mainly a challenge for myself for building a world from scratch. There were tons of ups and downs but I persevered and pushed through to the end!

I have now blasted your retinas with an ungodly amount of light, you're welcome. Anyways, this is the latest iteration of my portfolio... still haven't gotten around to actually coding it though. I'm thinking I should probably code my website in WordPress to be safe(r). Knowing me I'd probably unintentionally attract at least one person that will attempt an SQL injection or something. Speaking of which, I got sidetracked and now I'm learning about basic cybersecurity over at TryHackMe.

A few days ago I sat on my desk in the middle of the night and wondered "What would the Powerpuff Girls look like if they were a girl group. What would be their aesthetic, what would be their role?"
This was the main inspiration for this project. Right now I'm still in the iteration phase and trying to figure out their outfit.
For Blossom: I wanted to explore a femine yet cool look, given that her personality is almost like a big sister in this group.
For Bubbles: I took a lot of inspiration from Harajuku Fashion.
For Buttercup: I wanted to explore a more boyish look for her, given that she is quite a rebell. Main inspiration came from the dance and skater scene and try to find a way to marry those two within a design, scratched it in the last design though and went full skatermode.

A couple of designs for a personal project I’m working on. The project is far from finished but I’m pretty proud of the results so far and wanted to share with ya’ll what I had so far. <:
So the basic idea is that I’m pretending to develop a video game of my own making, primarily to give me a more set direction for when I design the characters.
The elevator pitch for the game in question: A young cat must find the scattered pieces of the sun to save the world from an eternal winter.
The little cat there is the player character: While they don’t have a set gender or name, I’ve been calling them “Fate”. The character doesn’t have a defined personality other than their determination and bravery.
The owl is the God of the Moon and Knowledge, and his name is Oron! He's very intelligent and wise, but he's a jolly guy at heart: very eccentric and kooky... maybe a little crazy even. But he's a kind soul and a great mentor.
And the lioness is Surya, the God of the Sun and Metalsmithing. The very god you’re tasked with reviving in the game. She’s pragmatic, practical, and level-headed, but despite her capacity to be as intense as her sun, she is more often warm and gentle.

There’s 3 more main gods I have to go through, the main antagonist, and a few development paintings I’d like to do to get a better feel of what the game’s world could look like, but this is the start of it all and I’m happy with them so far! <:

My stylized piece isn’t finished yet but the realistic one (sorta) is! This is my blood thirsty man child who eats the innocent to live forever all while wearing fancy silk pajamas (like what he’s wearing now). He loves his fiance very much, he just wishes she would stop trying to kill him, he’s not eating all these people for nothing.
