Keti Bander, the last human settlement on River Indus, the Pakistan's lifeline river, is located around 160 km east of country's commercial hub and port city of Karachi. #Sindh #Pakistan This small town is now a tiny fishing village on the Arabian Sea, which was once a port. Many times government authorities planned to build a deep-water port at this town to meet its own growing needs and eventually serve landlocked Afghanistan and Central Asia. Pakistan's two major ports - Karachi, with an annual handling capacity of 16.1 million tonnes, and Port Qasim, with a capacity of 6.2 million tonnes - are both in Sindh province.
