Day One of me seriously trying to learn Blender.

I have Blender, s4s and Vxyated's easy rig downloaded.

I open and follow @katverse's tutorial video. At this time I do not have Vxyated's Rig in blender.

I take some notes abt shortcuts for my own easy of access. Got about half way through the video got so tired and went and took a like 3 hour nap.

Came back refreshed and awake, and created a pretty nice pose if I do say so myself!

This is my finished product! I right away notice that the left side hand has some pretty major but unnoticeable clipping in the terms that 2 of the fingers on that hand completely disappear into her hips. Another lil nitpick that i dislike is that the hands do not rest at her natural hips, which realistically you would place your hands.

Her face I am veryyy proud of! The expression is nice and I personally do not see anything glaringly wrong or off about it! She looks happy and like she is laughing to me! Ive stared at the above picture for a bit and a very minor nitpick is that i think i tilted her head too much lol!

Whenever I resize my toddler he/she goes off screen. Do you have any idea why that happens or what i'm doing wrong?

Are you posing the toddler before using the resizer?  From what I understand, you have to pose the toddler first beforehand otherwise the toddler will go off screen once you hit “play” .  Perhaps this is why the toddler is going off screen? 

 pretty-poppet (post/113324527108) gave this as a solution to mellowpixels (post/113274776383/can-someone-explain-to-me-how-to-resize-toddlers) who was having the same problem. I don’t know if it worked out though.

spladoum (pose-master extraordinaire)- Could you, by chance, explain how to resize toddlers?

Or anyone else who has done it? (I still haven’t tried, but will)

Hi, I’m sorry if this is a stupid question or one that you’ve answered before, but I’m curious as to why some couple poses for the Sims 4 are able to be used with same sex sims and some aren’t. Do you know why?

Off hand, I would say that it is the same/similar “rule” as in TS3, i.e when poses are made, the models chosen are by gender specific.  

So, when you are creating a pose, you can choose a female model and a male model, 2 males, 2 females etc.  

Because male and female sim models have different proportions, I believe the thought is that if you use a male pose on a female sim or vice versa, there may be distortions--at least, that is the case claimed in TS3.  

I will state that the majority of poses I use (90%) are made for male sims. I’ve used poses for “females” on male sims and vice versa. Sometimes there are distortions, but nothing that can’t be managed.

Now, all that I have stated is applicable to TS3 because I have yet to try posing on TS4.  So, let’s shout out to the community to see if anyone has a better answer than mine. 

Anybody know what’s up with the poses in TS4? ooobsooo??
