Super stoked for my very first Instagram yoga challenge!!! This one sounded too fun to pass up: connect the asanas! Hosts give you two poses, and it is up to you to creatively connect the two with a third pose 🙏. Love finding new ways to transition between poses, so this should be really fun! Day 1️⃣ of #connecttheasanas2 is Mountain ⛰️ ➡️ 🦎 Lizard. 🤔 Never would have thought of connecting these poses, tbh. I chose to connect them with airplane ✈️. I love the challenge of stepping back slowwwwly into lunges and warriors from standing, so why not move all the way down to lizard? This video is sped up so I could fit both sides in the 1 minute clip, but I moved through this nice and slow. This was also done after a full practice to make sure my body was fully warmed up!! Always warm up before you attempt any deep stretch poses like Lizard👍.
