#poshpublic It’s cool to be kind! @karine_annick ・・・ || BE KIND || It's hardly a groundbreaking statement, but it's so true. And I'm grateful to some really cool people this week who've offered their kind words of advice and shared their experiences with me when I've asked about how they manage to find balance 💜 . Just a few kind words or actions from someone else has the power to really change your mood, make you think about things differently, inspire you- and I love that 💃 . Equally it's important to remember that the opposite is also true. I've often struggled with not being able to understand how some people don't seem to have the kindness and consideration for others that I have, and felt angry and disappointed by this 😡 . Unfortunately there will always be people like this and sometimes if we live with them, work with them, it can be hard to distance ourselves from their negative energy. For me it's a journey of learning to appreciate the wonderful people I have met and am meeting and focus my energy here, and understand that not everyone is the same and that's just life- and their personal journey 🕉 .
