Positivity Things - June 2017
In an attempt to share more positive things with you all – just because not only recently has it been really tough for me, but also I’ve been feeling like I don’t interact with you all enough; I write, I post and I stay distant – I’m going to do a little thing. Everyday I’m going to write something that’s made me smile. I’ll post the start of it at the beginning of the month and edit it from there, only reblogging at the end of the month with a link to the next. So, as a trial I’m going to start it today. I might not do this basically because I keep forgetting to keep updating it - though, it has been fun to do.
st – There was a man walking his lawnmower this morning. I honestly thought about asking him if he thought the concrete needed a trim or something.
nd – I got to play bubbles while at work and at home with the dog; I love how happy they make other people (but also I love them too so it’s all good!).
rd – So, today I learnt that in the seventeenth-century British monarchs could supposedly cure illnesses and ailments by touching people – it was called ‘stroking’. Also, one man cured people by writing ‘abracadabra’ as an acrostic on paper that they had to wear. There are some real gems in British history – shame there’s so much of a horror show there as well.
th – Watching TV and discussing it with my family, trying to figure out what might happen and passing comment on things, is still one of my favourite things to do.
th – I forgot what a windowsill was, like my brain didn't even acknowledge that it was a word.
th – Harry Potter’s 20th anniversary; feeling down but spending time with the people I care about to make it all better; listening to current favourite music.
th – Saw a fox. Also, the kids I help never fail to make me smile with some of their antics.
th – I don’t even know what hapened today, but man was it a good day.
th – Similar to yesterday honestly. But, I did see a squirrel which is always nice.
th – Good music; great food; nice company and hilarious TV and film.
