When I was in middle school we read midsummer night's dream in my English class and we all played roles. I have no idea what my roll was (some minor role) But at some point in the play it was written that I had to roar like a lion, so me being apathetic and depressed, I just said "roar" no one batted an eye, the next kid was about to continue even but the teacher stopped the whole flow and
"I have never once roared in my life, I don't know how and don't intend to"
"just do it, you need to roar like (she roared), you know? Now you."
(I'm very flustered at this point bc who likes being told their doing something wrong while being the center of attention? But I attempted the roar)
"no more like (she roars again)"
This continues at least two more times. And I just am sitting here suddenly thinking about it and wondering why my teacher knew how to roar like an animal.
