So, this year to make some extra money, I am working weekends in a Haunted House as an actor. It’s been one weekend, these are some of the things I have seen/heard so far. Feel free to use these as writing prompts if you want, I might later, because I could not make this stuff up if I tried.

- Group of middle schoolers, led by thirteen-year-old boy. “Everything here is fake. That thing was stupid. This is dumb.” I pop out of trees, boy runs away. I chase him

- “So intriguing”

- A grown man using his wife as a shield, wife telling him “oh my god, it’s just a little girl”

- Group of teenage girls singing (badly) Pocketful of Sunshine

- “WE SHOULD’VE GONE TO FRIGHT FEST!”

- “You should check yourself for ticks”

- “Are you ok?”

- Grown man crouches to the ground after I pop out

- “Whoever’s in here.... If you jump out you might get socked!”

- “I’m ready!” (Man rips off shirt)

- “It’s fake.” “No I’m not”

- 20-something year-old boy with horror-movie worthy, high pitched teen girl sounding scream. “I didn’t know I could scream like that”

- “Where’s the bathroom?”

- “I’m about to pee my pants”

- (my coworker in a room deeper in the house than me) “A girl peed her pants”

- Group of six, I pop out and five scream, other one just stares at me. I stare back, five still screaming. We stare at them, they’re still screaming, we look back to each other.

Lol something like the classics: one of them wants to make their ex jealous,,, orrr helping Rosie with something and wanting a date in return, but her wanting nothing to do with you until … ? Similar to that one Jennie story now that I think about it.
