Something tickled Ferus’s memory. Something familiar about this scene. What was it? He felt there was something here that he should be able to grasp but couldn't.

Trauma is having to learn to hide your panic attacks because you would get punished for them as a child, so now people don't believe you when you tell them you're having one of the worst anxiety attacks you've ever had, because you don't show any signs of it :(

At the mention of a nail, however, they instinctively reach for their blade.

Before much can happen, they pause, loss of memory catching up to them again. A blade? What in the world is a blade, and why would they have one?

They turn to face you once more, only to find that your semi corporal form has vanished.
