Reflections on London, Pt. 4
Today is Tuesday, the 27th of October. Today I walked 11,534 steps. Altogether, I was walking throughout the streets of London for 2 hours. I burned 389 calories in these 11,534 steps and walked a total of 6 miles.
Today is Tuesday, the 27th of October and in my trek across town, I couldn’t go five or six steps without stopping and grabbing hold of my camera, which waited conveniently for me via the strap around my neck. Today I took 153 pictures on my canon rebel.
Today is Tuesday, the 27th of October and by Friday, the 30th of October I have to pick my classes for the spring term and e-mail my choices to the study abroad office.
Yesterday was Monday, the 26th of October and I didn’t think I’d return to London for a second term after the holidays back home. I’d been thinking that a lot the last week or so.
Today is Tuesday, the 27th of October, and instead of spending 5.80 on the tube to get to and from my several destinations on my to-do list, I walked several thousand steps and realized how much of this city I’ve yet to see and explore, how much I’ve yet to do.
Today is Tuesday, the 27th of October, and I’m in my fifth week of classes at the University of Westminster. I’m in my sixth week of living in London.
Today is Tuesday, the 27th of October and I realized I had to stay for my full-year commitment at the University of Westminster. Not because I’m bound by an academic agreement to pay a full-year’s tuition, but because being here for full school year will do so much for me as a person than a single term. But also partially because I’m bound by an academic agreement to pay a full-year’s tuition. Tomorrow is Wednesday, the 28th of October, and I have a lot on my plate. I have a full day at my internship, another large pile of coursework to do, and my own personal to-do list that has been looking on at me with some disappointment as I consistently, day-by-day, bypass the things I want to do for the things I need to do for school.
