   Jian bows his head respectfully. “I..I didn’t mean any off-offense. Please forgive me.” The sentence was a lot more tougher to say than he had previously anticipated, but he speaks of so with sincerity. He didn’t mean to scold her, out of anybody he could possibly do that to, Lady Yuffie wasn’t one of them. But, he worried. She always seems to attempt to stray away from her path. Or tries to anyway. He’s sure it’s burdensome, her role and her part in all of this; to a personal level he doesn’t know her at all. Only devotes himself to her and her family, protecting them from harm along with their precious homeland, but with that title she has there’s danger for her. The politics of the matter aren’t all that simple even if the lands all do meet eye to eye on the restoration of the planet itself – it’s never truly that simple. “..I-I just didn’t want a-any harm to come to you, Lady Yuffie.”

   ‘What’s a turk doing in Wutai?!’ He wonders to himself, slowly being consumed by worry and concern though hopeful that not here to stir up trouble. By all means he would try to inspect and find out for himself but given certain circumstances he feels like he wouldn’t be doing a very good job of that. So he’s fairing just fine from this distance. He knows the Kisaragi family are attempting to work with Rufus, who Jian isn’t all for so he can only assume that they’re here because he’s here somewhere.

   Oblivious to the fact that he’s been staring this whole entire time and quite obviously too.

   The avoidance of eye contact is only routine now. Twin lances on both his hands, head levels down after he smites the final blow, who hits the ground behind him drawing its final breath from his conclusive blow. He doesn’t attempt to approach the other, in fact stays in place like the bottom of his feet are glued to the ground and unable to move. He takes silent breaths, deep ones from the previous encounters of battle. His brain had advised him to go on his merry way because of how it’ll turn out and affect him after the high, but his heart refused to leave someone overwhelmed by enemies to fend for themselves -- that’s dishonorable at best.

   He swallows, petrified like a stone where he is, but he tries to tell himself it’ll be alright. He doesn’t have to fear or be scared. It isn’t working out too well; hasn’t worked out too well and he’s already twenty-four years old. ‘Come on, come on!’ He tells himself. ‘Keep it together!’ A demand. ‘Say something this is getting awkward, anything!’

   “...” Though internally he’s being loud, he’s all the different on the outside. “A..Are you..... alright?”
