Jhené Aiko: “B’s & H’s”
There’s something about a very sweet voice singing about ‘so many bitches and hoes’ but I guess that’s Jhené’s thing and you know it works. “B’s & H’s” is a smooth rnb cut with a killer beat and low key synths.

Ciara: “Dance Like We’re Making Love”
So I got the chance to work at Wireless Festival this year on the Pepsi Max stage and over the three days I got to see some acts including Arrested Development, Pusha T, Party Next Door, Grandmaster Flash and probably some others that I can’t remember right now. Anyway, one of the highlights of the weekend for me was Ciara, mainly because I didn’t really know what her new stuff sounded like (I just knew I loved “Lose Control”) so I was pleasantly surprised when it was really really good. One of those new songs was “Dance Like We’re Making Love” a sexy low key post rnb track with Phil Collins esque vibes and a hell of a chorus.

Day 391: Intro (humantic) Here we go! New album leading up to 400- this is the first one in order! This is a song I started writing probably 2.5 months ago, which is around the time that most of the events from these songs took place, although there will be some reminiscence and call backs to older events of my life. I'll leave it up to you to decide what it's about (I think it's pretty straight forward), but productionwise I'm happy with the ideas on this. This is my first time ever doing 3 part harmonies with myself, so be gentle! Most of the sounds in this are reversed and almost exclusively human voice and 6-string ukelele (there is a little bit of paper crinkling in there too, but everything else is those things). I might re-mix it a bit before I release it as an album, but I think it came out sorta neat. Have A Good Day- Justice McMoreTomorrowMorning? I can see through me; can you see through me too? I can't undo me- could you make me feel new? If I'm not of we I am without my glue... Is this unbalanced (Did I)(Have I)(Will I) put too much on you?
From a clay bushel full of golden fruits, the dog takes them all and makes paint. He'll mix them through for you with some sand and some stone- Making you watch him and say,
"Ain't that strange- must be a special breed!" ...his wires tied to your mouth and your legs; draws you in close enough to affix the color he's assured you'll hold. It will be right this time; I can't say why.

Jack Garrett: "Worry"
That voice.
You know songs that make you stop what you're doing? Yeah, Jack Garrett's "Worry" is one of those ones. With shades of James Blake, Autre Ne Veut and SOHN, "Worry" evolves into a funky post rnb jam.
Oh, "Water" is really good too, production kind of reminds me of The Weeknd but less oppressive.
