Post-shed Wrinkle!

Shed was difficult, as expected, he had something like 2-3 sheds stuck to his head that I had to end up helping him with. But! We came through it, I got both eye caps, and he is much brighter and happier for it! Now the slow battle getting him to gain weight (he's so thin :c ) and a nice proper shed.

The worst part about this is that I basically have to blame the breeder for his problems. He was only with his previous owner for maybe 3 weeks before she sold him, which is not enough time to shed twice or get this thin. He wasn't on the proper food, but I expect the breeder told her what to feed him as well. And I know she had him shipped directly from the breeder, so unless he was a re-sell (and then, why would a breeder take back and then sell an animal who wasn't 100%?) it's their fault.

He wasn't even able to coil properly when I got him, and although he still has a little bit of wriggle, he's finally gotten to the point where he can grab me. Really happy with how far he's come, and this week will be dedicated to setting up his non-quarantine home so he can move in at the end of break. He's an active little shit, and that Q tank is boring as hell.
