I'm slowly working on some stuff for everyone, but my weekends this month are basically gone - I'm working Saturdays which means I don't have my weekends to spend my energy on writing

I've got some progress on the works I posted about earlier this month though! Hopefully I can't get another thing posted soon 🤞

Automattic — the maker of WordPress.com — has purchased Tumblr

Automattic has purchased Tumblr from Verizon, in a firesale move reported to be for less than $3 million. There is still value in the site, however, for Automattic.

Move infrastructure off Verizon.

Support same APIs on both WP.com and Tumblr.

Switch backend to be [WordPress].

Open source Tumblr.com client similar to Calypso.
