There isn’t much sound in the airship, aside from the gentle buzzing and whirring through the sky and occasional conversation between Maria and the group aboard. Morale seemed low but HOPEFUL, which was okay enough for the leader, as she reflected. Most of the group was either asleep by now or keeping to themselves. Her eyes met every member with passing glance until they met with Weiss, who was still awake. Her brows knit as she lightly patted the seat next to her: an offering. She tries a smile and it’s genuine, but tired.
“Wanna talk? It’s getting pretty quiet here, and I think we could both probably use the company...”
When Ruby thought of all her friend and teammate had to go through during the past couple of months alone, it’d occurred to her how little she sat down and TALKED with her. It would be nice to catch up, with the downtime they had now, until they’d be back at it again.
Besides, Ruby HATES being left alone with her OWN thoughts.
@fractaele plotted!
