BIOGRAPHY
Alexander Braun wasn’t always a Braun, nor Alexander, but Agnus Vale, from the fairly lower-class family of Unseelie Faes, the Vales. While Alex himself is a Seelie Fae, his family wasn’t the greatest, they were devilish tricksters and despite Alex’s begging them not too, they had be the ones responsible for the deaths of many humans and supernaturals, and while they very easily escaped capture many times in their lives, it didn’t pan out in the long run. Faes can be nasty if they want, attack the humans and the supernaturals all they want, but as soon as you turn on a fellow Fae, that’s where you draw the line. It was his sister that tricked a Seelie Fae boy into falling in love with her, all while she was dating an Unseelie Fae man. Together they tricked the boy in going out into the woods where they captured him, robbed him and left him there, to the wolves. Outrage called for their heads, and the rest of the Vale family for allowing this behavior. In the one good act the Vales have ever done, they helped their son escape the village, helping him run into the woods. They saw his seelie ways, calling it weakness as he grew up but in the end it was Alexander who was the last Vale, or so he thinks. He had to seek shelter, and he heard of Thorn Haven, a safe haven for all supernatural, but the entry fee was steep, a traitor or human. He spent weeks in the nearest town, searching far and wide for someone that betrayed Thorn Haven, and only two weeks ago Alex heard of a man that gave away the location to some humans, a supernatural himself. Tricking the lad into believing he was human, and having him show Alex to Thorn Haven, he ambushed him, capturing the fellow supernatural and dragging him to the gates for his safety. Alex had little to his name, the money he saved throughout his childhood gave him a fair bit of pocket change to get a home, and enough over for a slave or two if he ever felt the urge. But he doesn’t know if he can bring himself to do it.
