14) do you prefer: paperback or hardcover? ebook or physical? text or audiobook?

i actually like it all! it depends on the mood i’m in! paperbacks are cheaper and easier to carry around which is a plus. i do love getting a hardcover and seeing the dust sleeve and what the book looks like underneath. ebooks are super convenient and are easier for reading late at night (which i do a lot of because sleep, what is that?), and i love audiobooks since i can turn them on when i’m working, walking, cooking, trying to sleep, etc.!

23) favorite book cover?

oh gosh, there are so many gorgeous covers out there, it’s so hard to pick just 1 favorite! i really love the these violent delights cover (and the sequel that’s coming out this year!) i also really love the if we were villains cover

ooh! If you’re rereading trc I suggest trying call down the hawk if you haven’t read it yet!! I ended up loving it even more than the original series

i've been meaning to read it for so long but haven't gotten around to it and it seems like reading it after my trc reread is the perfect time to do so!

5. What genre did you read the most of?

mystery/thriller! i love murder mysteries and thrillers so that’s my go to genre!

18. How many books did you buy?

i’m not actually sure! i’ve been using the libby app, and hoopla with my library cards as well as scribd so i’ve gotten a lot of books for free this year. i think i’ve maybe bought 10 books this year? 

24. Did you DNF anything? Why?

i dnf’d 2 this year i believe. when it came to the haunting at bonaventure circus, the writing was perfectly fine and i think had i been in the right mood i would’ve really enjoyed it, but i wasn’t feeling it so i dnf’d it after like 5 chapters or so. i would like to revisit it at some point. the other one was slingshot and i....will absolutely not be going back to that one

I feel this honestly?? I used to be a fucking rubber band and now I’m normal amounts of stretchy but it makes me feel like an old lady.
