He actually has an aversion to bright lights. So, whenever you two make it home, none of the main lights are on, but instead you have tons of Christmas lights hung around the entire place. Those moments you two cuddle in the dim lights are always calming to you two.
Soooooooo protective over you. Always hugging you from behind and resting his head on top of yours.
Aeng-du is a good friend to the both of you, although she mostly wrangles Kim to not be an idiot TM to you (mostly letting him know if you had your eye on a certain thing in a shop you passed on a shopping outing together, or texting him you had a bad day) Sure, he is observant, but he can't see you when he's at work.
And on those bad days, he'd buy you a cake, sweets, or mostly anything you preferred. Sure, he'd eat half of it alongside you, but you were together.
And he really knew how to cheer you up. You both made each other feel at peace, in all matters of the sense.
Due to the Intervallo VII: Mnestic Experience, he dislikes photographs. He may have one of the two of you on his device lock screen, but apart from that, he actually prefers to draw you. His art isn't the very best, but the art dated you had were one of his most cherished memories.
The same ones he falls back on as he's stuck in work, trudging along, thoughts filled with ways he wanted to slack off. Slack off and spend time with you.
He did make an effort to drop into your office. (or wherever you worked within the city) Mostly to hide and rest for a moment or three, but also to just watch you do your duties.
There's peace in the simplicity of it all.
Limbus Company was an interesting moment in his work life, as that was one where you had time off and decided to spend time alongside him. You didn't go into the more dangerous areas, but when he stumbled over to cradle you in his arms, it was quite amusing to the crew that this man, once feared due to his power, now seen as just a man with wants and wishes...
now embracing the one who brought him the most comfort of all.
The comments from some cough cough Heathcliff did get you to show a more protective side of yourself, lobbing one of the cameras towards the man. That got a laugh out of some, including your dear bamboo.
