I disagree and idk why you think I would be aggressive to you when I haven't been to anyone else. People in Hispaniola and other islands were rolling up tobacco in leaves and smoking it long before colonizers arrived, so cigarettes and cigars are actually traditional, although paper and filters are obviously new. Heart disease and diabetes kill you just as much as cancer does, idk why you think one is worse but that seems like a subjective opinion. All of those health effects are from overusing tobacco due to a greedy mindset. Maybe it is a southeastern thing, but like 90% of native people I know do smoke cigarettes and it isn't because of propaganda, it's because of cultural tradition (they got it from their parents, who got it from their parents.) Propaganda only can convince people to smoke who don't already have a history of doing it, obviously. I've talked about proper moderation and tolerance awareness on my blog, and I actually mainly smoke from a peace pipe, despite art I may make to provoke social discussion. Certainly it's possible to consume sugar mindfully, it's equally addictive but you aren't shaming my cookie habit (which is much more severe if you must know.) I'm going to outlive all my friends and you as well. Actually if I get cancer it will probably be from factory runoff I was exposed to on my grandma's land, but sure, blame my culture.
I've been so polite and respectful in all my responses on this thread, it just goes to show how racist the average person is. Even being respectfully disagreed with comes off as aggression if it's coming from someone who isn't white. And yeah, you can be native and racist against native culture, I see it all the time.
