So I only saw today that my last fic wasn't appearing under any hashtags?? Apparently this can randomly happen to people sometimes...

Here's how I did to fix the whole thing if ever you have the same issue! (This is also a mini tuto for future myself if this happens again lmao)

- Remove ALL the tags, then save the post like this

- Put back the tags, between 5 and 20. Remove all the tags that are too long (yeah I think that was the issue, I had the habits of rambling into the tags but this can shadowban posts 🫣) + the ones that can be problematic (here I deleted nsfw and it worked for some reason)

- Save again!

(an extra smooch on the head for everyone who interacted with the fic even though it was shadowbanned lmao, you guys are the best, my royal guard, my icing on the cake! ✨)

Update, 9:08pm: These issues should now be resolved. Thanks for your patience! ... We're aware of an issue that may prevent users from posting media on the web. Also, some users of the apps may experience issues when loading the dashboard. Our engineers are currently working hard on a fix. Stay tuned here for updates.

I can’t use icons on Tumblr posts.

I don’t know why, but Tumblr won’t let me post when I use pictures in text. Currently, I’m trying to find a solution, and have messaged staff for help, but. . .

In the meantime, I’ll either have to go without icons or move to mobile, and god knows I’m not putting up responses without icons.

So my responses to threads might be delayed while I move things to my phone, provided I can’t fix this problem. Just a heads up to those who might want to know why I haven’t put up any ic stuff yet!

What gives, tumblr? Twice now today, I have tried to make a 3 photo post on the mobile app, gotten it all set, hit "post," and it hasn’t posted.

Anyone else having this issue, or is it just me?

Has anyone else been having an issue with uploading selfies on tumblr? Over the past few months I tried to post 3 selfies and every time Tumblr tells me there was an issue and to try again. I try again, same issue. But any other pic or video I upload from my phone camera is just fine. Maybe I'm just too ugly for Tumblr, idk.
