I opened a Deviantart page a while back... finally got to post a few pictures today.  Very friendly bunch of artistic people on there... I didn’t even have to try hard to find anyone, they found me.  It feels a lot like Instagram in some ways. 

For any artists or photographers interested in opening a Deviantart page who might not be interested in the sales side of things... good news is, you don’t have to sell your work if you don’t wish to.  You can use it a lot like Flickr.

But if you do want to try selling your work or a small selection of it, you can by upgrading your account with a click of a button.

Petition for job sites to make employers fill out a questionnaire before posting a job.

And it only has one question: “How would you define an ‘entry level position?’” And if they saying anything about needing a 1, or 2, or five, or any number of “professional” experience

the site locks them out

and they can’t post the job until they’ve given a long hard think about their status as gigantic fuck ferrets.
