Hey fam 👋🏼 it's been a few days since I've posted....this past week has been (and continues to be) quite up-and-down...to say the least 🙈 With Irma approaching last week, not knowing what to do or where to go, to evacuate or hunker down, or if I would have a home to come back to 🌪🙈 The most important and only thing on my mind was to be with loved ones and remain as safe as possible. [Not knowing] sometimes is the most frightening part! First, I want to thank everyone that has reached out to me, whether via email, text, calls, DM & even in the comments 🙏🏽 your concern and offers to help in these moments of uncertainty are greatly appreciated and I am eternally grateful ☺🙏🏽 You guys are the best! Secondly, I am safe (obviously 🙃) lol. I was fortunate enough to stay with friends that welcomed my whole family (including Argo 🐶 of course) to stay at their house with an underground generator 🙏🏽🙌🏼 I was debating on so many different options, should we fly back home to Michigan...should we drive up to Orlando or even ATL...🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ I am so glad we stayed, hunkered down and beyond thankful we only had some exterior damage in the yard. It could have been so much worse 🙈 I feel horrible for the locations that weren't so lucky 😔 My thoughts and prayers go out to them, as well as all those still dealing with Hurricane Harvey.
