Fighting post-LARP-depression
Hey you all
I was at one of the most awesome LARP last weekend and of course I feel now like shit because the LARP is over and real life has me back... And I’m just guessing that some of you feel the same way after a great LARP, so here are some tips to help coping with it :)
Fluffing around always helps me to not hit the real world too hard. What I mean with that is that you write out some downtime with your character and others (that most likely feel post-LARP-depression too). What are they doing after the event, where are they now, what are their plans...? Or whatever you feel like writing/skyping/whatevering about :)
Reading all the “thank you” posts out there, to see that you are not alone
But staying in the LARP bubble is not going to help forever so try doing things that make you happy. No matter if it’s cooking, baking, sewing, reading, sports, studying. Just do the things that help you cope and so slowly get back into your normal day to day rhythm
Last but not least don’t forget to take your medication :)
Please feel free to add to this list :)
PS: I will write about the LARP as soon as I have the pics, so you also have some visuals :)
