A Complete guide on post mix, it's working procedure and difference between pre-mix and post-mix soda dispenser system.
Post-mix syrups are found at most restaurants, usually packaged as 5-gallon of syrup in a tank. The post-mix system comprises all the equipment that is needed to produce a quality drink and excite the taste buds of guests. The syrup’s path begins by being forced out of the syrup tank under 30 lbs of carbon-dioxide pressure towards the drink heads or valves (also known as single electric valves or SEVs).
Water is first supplied to the carbonator and mixed with carbon dioxide. Next, the water pressure is gradually increased by a brass pump into the carbonation tank (all care taken to ensure that the pressure is below 110 lbs). And when the pressure starts building up on the drink head, a fresh soft drink comes out of the nozzle, that will blow you over!
