as someone who's been kicked out of countless LGBT spaces for not being a radical leftist (even though I do lean left, apparently that's not enough for these people?) your blog is one hell of a breath of fresh air. Keep up the good work.
I believe the worst thing we ever did was politicize the LGBT+ community and all spaces for us. Yes, LGBT+ can be a political topic in certain areas. But, as a whole? We are a community of so many different people. To think that all of us are going to be left-leaning to a certain degree or further is impossible.

I didn't know gays existed until I saw a same sex marriage protest on tv at age 7 or so and even then I thought it was just platonic friends finding a creative way to piss off the government because I didn't realise that people of the same gender could really love each other.
