Story Outline V2

Establishing shot of Black and White building with doors (Circle, square, star)

Shaped characters through assigned doors

sound of footsteps, little character looks up

reveal of main character(big, colorful, textures)

Circle points him to "Circle" sign

Circle retracts arms/legs and bounces through Circle Door

looks through tiny circle door

sees boring peanuts trumpet speech in auditorium

each shape is in it's own seat section

Mumble backs up and scrunches itself and tries to bounce too

Door/Wall gets cracked and color spills into building

Circles get mad and point towards "blob" sign

Mumble reads sign, but decides against it

Watches Squares

Digs through his bag

Gets in square sign with box disguise

Mumble falls over and spills color in box

Squares laugh at him

Digs through bag again

Gets in Star line with party hats on him.

Mumble sneezes color everywhere

Stars kick him out of line

Mumble throws out disguises

Texas Cookie helps tells him he still has a hat

Mumble throws it away.

Texas Cookie leads him passed the sign (****)

Mumble takes the sign

Rewrites it to say "everybody" instead of "everybody else"

other shapes get angry

he backs up towards door and trips

color splashes everywhere all over everything and everyone

characters and gross out by color

start laughing at each other, throwing more color everywhere

Jazz music, dancing in color

Assignment Week 8

1. STORY NAME: 
- It's Ok To Be _______ 
2. CREATE AN ELEVATOR PITCH:  - This is a story about an oddly shaped character named Mumble who is trying to fit in. There's an event in a building and it can't fit through any of the shape-specific doors. It either has find a way in or sit outside by itself. 3. SOCIAL ISSUE:  
- Allegorical story about body image/acceptance. 
4. FINAL OUTCOME:-Animation 
5. PRESENTATION: - Say the elevator pitch then play the animation

tries to mimic shape for each door, but fails to fit

looks through tiny circle door

sees boring peanuts trumpet speech in auditorium

Every failed attempt he falls and colors splash everywhere

other shapes laugh at him

One character helps him up, and takes off additions

main character loses balance and trips through wall

color splashes everywhere all over everything and everyone

characters and gross out by color

start laughing at each other

For next week we are all going to do character concepts for our story and decide which ones we are going to use.We also agreed that my workload would consist mainly of illustrations that Xanthe and Samantha will animate.
