A few infrared images from January's trip to the Moab area. These were captured on a couple of hikes off of the Potash Road, ~1500' below Dead Horse Point, but about 600' above the Colorado River. The sheer towers and cliffs are Wingate Formation (~200 million years ago) whilst the rounded, softer underlying sandstone that we were walking through and over is from the Organ Rock Formation, which is about 260 million years old. The Potash Road itself rests on ~275 million year old Cedar Mesa Sandstone. #clayhausphotography #potashroad #greatercanyonlands https://www.instagram.com/p/Co_iXzAuZH7/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
