Miracle boxes

Miracle boxes started forming since the creation of the miraculous. There have been several attempts at making boxes correspond to astrology and other themes but these ideas didn’t last for long. Duos used to be inside the boxes as a sort of leaders but were separated into their own boxes and put under watch by the Order of Guardians. There was always only one duo box per temple.

Can I also know more about the internal structure/logic of the Movement and Potency boxes? I can see the Spider and Antelope being an opposite pair, as well as Salamander and Betta Fish, and in the Potency box the Ox and the Goat, but mostly that's it.

Sure.

These are the old layouts so they don't apply anymore but my thoughts are still pretty similar with the Movement box. I think I organized the Potency box by color.

The Potency box is divided into two sections- the destructive one (the bison's half) and the protective one (the turtle's half). It doesn't really have a solid structure with the opposites and the protective ones but uh the destructive ones are pretty good.

The koi is the opposite of the goat because their effect on the surroundings is very similar but the goat is more destructive. The crab is the opposite of the ox because the ox shields and the crab penetrates. The squirrel and axolotl are weak. But the axolotl is next to the ox because they are very similar.

The Movement box is really close to the original layout, I just switched them a little. The dragonfly is the active side (the side that moves) and the bee side is the inactive side (the side that doesn't move). The drawers could be considered an extension of the upper miraculous.

The dragonfly and the bee are the opposite, same with the antelope and the spider. The panda and the dog are a pair, the panda is on the top because it moves people, while the dog moves only objects. The salamander is on the top because it's a second layer and the flamingo's power is very similar to the salamander's. The reason these four are on the dragonfly's side is because the holder has to move to use them. The panda literally moves someone and the dog has to throw the ball to get the object. The salamander's powers are active ones. One causes a lot of movement by attracting everything to something and the other allows the holder to walk basically on any surface. The flamingo is basically a weaker version of the salamander's first power.

The horse and ferret create a portal that lessens the need to walk since it gets them right where they want. The betta fish traps someone in a bubble which the target cannot escape from. You could say that the jellyfish lessens the need for someone to move since they can just reach through the wall/object.

So yeah, that's it.

Boxes!

So, in my au the boxes are all completely different.

The first layer kwamis are in their respective pairing and in separate boxes as seen above. Each pairing has a name for what they represent:

Ladybug+Black Cat- Matter duo

White Lion+Hellhound- Energy duo

Caladrius+Bat- Conciousness duo

Unicorn+Stick Bug- Existence duo (thanks @hades-999 for the idea!)

The pairs were kept in one of the 4 (technically 5) temples. They were barely mixing and a pair was always released together. The Guardians believed if they didn't the universe will be unbalanced.

The other boxes usually had a second layer kwami who was in charge/above the others. I'm gonna call them alpha for now. They were mostly like this

Now, these weren't like this most of the time. It honestly depends on who was in charge of the box arrangements at that time. For example, the Snow Leopard was constantly being moved from the Timekeeper box to the Elemental box, and the Consciousness duo was in the Emotion box before they separated the duos.

which kwami would be the "leader" of each box? (not including the duo boxes)

It's usually a second layer

Pinguu and Bloom could be considered ones, but the leaders aren't that established in the Elemental box, since most of them are second layers and Longg has a very mature personality.

Duusu is a sort of leader of the Emotion box since he's Emotion himself and has the most control over the other kwamis. Atta could also be considered a leader since she's reliable and level-headed and the kwamis listen and trust her word.

The Identity box is kinda complicated but the kwamis listen to Fluff the most. She's nice but bold in her opinions and hates the Order so that got the kwamis' favor very easily. Luppu is also a good one if he isn't grieving.

For the Movement box, probably Stikk, Pollen is too obedient and Zapp is too hyperactive.

Crassh for Potency box, Wayzz is too much of a doormat. And sure, Crassh can get very aggressive but it's better than letting everyone walk over you.

Allba usually leads the Sense box, if not him then Fleet.

Sass is actually the leader for the Timekeeper box. While Borre and Kello are second layers, Sass has more authority, he's mature and serious. Kello is right behind Sass though, he is pretty charismatic while not being silly like Borre.

Ziggy, the goat of Elation

Ziggy is a kind and helpful kwami who warms up to her holders quickly. She’s sensitive and gets scared easily and likes to assume the worst. 

Powers:

Battering Ram- Gathers an immense amount of energy around the holder’s fist, that releases a giant shock wave upon impact.

Extra:

She calls her holders kids.

She head-butts people she likes.

She likes flowers.

Can be considered the second strongest box, right after the Elemental. Used to be the strongest since the Matter duo was placed here.

Wayzz is a very wise kwami, but is quite a doormat. He offers a lot of advice that can sometimes come off as mean but he always means well.

Powers:

Shellter- Summons a dome that is only penetrable with the first layer miraculous. Can summon two per transformation at the start.

Shell Shock- Releases all the impact on the holder and their shield. This only pushes the person back and does not hurt them.

Turn Turtle- The Cure. Things are sturdier and harder.

He wanders the world looking for a holder who knows something about the Order so he could feel the familiarity again.

He calls his holders his masters.

Miraculous: nose ring

Weapon: brace knuckles

Stand back.

Favorite food: spinach

Stompp is very persistent and won’t stop unless she gets what she wants. She likes to mock someone who she sees as annoying. She favors holders who are physically strong.

Powers:

Resistance- Makes the holder’s body invulnerable to anything as long as they are transformed. 

Extra:

She thinks Wayzz is a doormat.
