He not only dodged her question of how he was doing, he also immediately looked nervous. She was silent for a moment, just looking at him.

“Look at things...and do stuff,” she repeated. “And just what might ‘stuff’ imply here, Po?”

Good, Po made the perfect distraction;; Kai took advantage of this to turn the topic onto the bear and his past. 

Though, Kai understood what Po meant by hate. But at this point; the hate of others fueled him to do more. To push harder. Kai has taken what once distressed him and flipped it into a means of empowerment. His nature has changed to his core;; a long lasting effect of his ignorance &&blind  rage.

And perhaps to cope against the whipping winds of doubt that stung his heart;; a toxin disguised as the antidote to cure his sick crumbling sanity. 

Though Po was pure at heart;;Kai knew the hurt he faced;; for Kai was once the same.He used to be righteous at heart && fueled by justice, freedom, && the power of will.  

But he has allowed himself to stray;; Out of heart-piercing fear. Part of him wished to warn Po of the paths he may be forced to take;; && to not follow the same self destructive path he once took. But the other part of him wanted Po to suffer those choices. && Thirsts to relish in it.

[ 師傅 } Judging by the smug, satisfied look on the small master’s face, it probably was a trap. Of course Po wouldn’t know the answer. Shifu might not have been the teacher anymore, but he still had much wisdom to impart on to the newest member of the Jade Palace. 

" One, ” he said, answering his own question. “ Because I’d broken my back, and had to wait for a healer to fix it. Have you broken anything? ”
