So as I drive my Moppet to be watched and nurtured (I hope) by her daytime care giver I usually listen to POTUS radio. Over the last week this has changed. Aside from a segment that covers this day in American history, I'm over politics for now. At this point all you get is Obama says Romney is a crack pot while Romney says the same about Obama. News Flash the US is screwed, do any of us really believe either of these jokers care about us average citizens. That being said will I vote? Yep. Will I take it seriously? Yep. Do I know how to fix the corrupt system currently employed by both sides? Nope.... Will a third party help? Probably not. Bummer. On to happier topics. Now that you know my mental state involving politricks. I bailed on POTUS radio and moved over to PRX (Public Radio eXchange). Its been relatively refreshing, 5 minute stories by story tellers or a TED talk (see attached video and previous post Ref. 1). Good stuff, fairly reaffirming stuff. Screw you politicians, I am calling shenanigans on the whole system. Wake me up in November so I can be “Between the devil and the deep blue sea” (Ref. 2) while I'm in the voting booth.
