Potjie is usually a small cast iron pot with a lid, typically having three legs, for use over an open fire.

Recipe
2 kg Oxtail
500 grams of Rigatoni pasta
2 Onions
1 Red bell pepper
3 stalks Celery
3 large cloves Garlic (3 tablespoons)
1 punnet Portobellini mushrooms
4 Corn on the cob
250 grams of Carrots
100 grams of Dried Cranberries
½ cup Canola oil
Spices
2 teaspoons dried Coriander seeds
1 teaspoon Black Peppercorns
1 teaspoon dried Chilli flakes
10 Cardamom pods
½ teaspoon Fennel seeds
2 Star Anise
1 small piece Cinnamon bark
4 whole Cloves
1.7 liters Beef stock (4 beef bouillon cubes)
1.5 liters Water
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
