@potstickerhero gets a somewhat planned starter - yay dinner dates!?
They had planned for Lena and Lukas to arrived at 4:30 and Lena was always on time, of course - they weren’t late right now - but, they were infact early. Something that hadn’t exactly been planned. But waiting for 4:30 was harder than expected for both of these Luthors, particularly when it was waiting to go and see Kara - despite having only seen her a couple of hours ago as well.
Lena was dressed as she usually was, perhaps a little more care taken in deciding what to wear than she usually would, but it was Lukas at her side that was a little more - creatively dressed up. While he had dressed quite nicely, almost matching to his Mothers outfit, there was a certain red piece of his outfit that didn’t quite fit but also completely did all at the same time.
It was Lukas that couldn’t wait even a moment longer, that made Lena cave in heading over a little earlier - the two of them soon arriving and standing outside Kara Danvers apartment at 4:16 instead of the arranged time. Before even reaching the door, Lena had been able to hear the familiar voice of the woman who had stolen her heart, a smile already forming on her face as she held Lukas’s hand, the little boy already tugging for them to go knock on the door.
“It Kawa’s pwace Mommy!” He happily stated, bouncing up and down, the tiny redcape tied around his neck flapping up and down at the movement, a wide smile on the childs face, “Kawa! Kawa! Wes’hewe!” He calls out as Lena tries to not laugh, quickly crouching beside him.
“Okay Lukey, yes we’re here but we’re early remember? Kara might not be ready for us - so lets be super good okay?” She spoke softly, gently brushing his hair back and placing a kiss on his forehead right as the door opened.
