hi, everyone! very excited to announce our first task! we’ve decided to have this one be about dialogue-only starters and conversations. while we absolutely love to see lengthy paras, we thought it’d be fun to get back to the roots of tumblr roleplaying and do some lowkey, fast-paced threads. something more rapidfire to help further interactions along and explore character voice, you know? we hope this task will help take the pressure off of you all when it comes to doing replies if anyone was feeling the need to live up to any standards or expectations. we’re all just here to have fun, and we welcome all forms of roleplaying here – that includes gif convos! we also hope that this adds some levity to the intense plot drop most of us are roleplaying right now. please feel free to take this opportunity to do flashbacks, especially because it would be an easy and quick way to help build some natural connections and figure out how characters vibe against each other.

so if you’d like to take part in this interactions-based task, all you have to do is post at least one dialogue-only starter and then reply to someone else’s in return! however, this is one stipulation: please keep these interactions on the dash as we’re trying to encourage people to use it more. if you’re struggling to figure out what to have your characters say, you can also reblog a starter meme just for this purpose. and of course, if you and your partner would like, you’re welcome to let the thread naturally develop into something longer and more para-based, or you could just keep it dialogue-only! it’s all up to you! also, this task is completely optional, and there is no time limit for it, so you’re welcome to do it anytime you’d like. hope you decide to participate and please have fun!
