Since I haven’t posted any of these yet, here is bows from the 13/12/25, 18/02/26 & 19/02/26.
Seeing The Playboy of the Western World was an experience I will genuinely carry with me, for the rest of my life. From the moment the production began, I felt completely pulled into its world, laughing one minute, sitting in stunned silence the next. There is such an emotional richness to it, such a careful balance between humour and heartbreak, that it never once felt distant or old. It felt alive. Watching Nic on stage was incredibly moving. There was something deeply powerful about seeing her inhabit the role with such honesty and intensity. Every moment felt intentional, every emotion fully lived in. I was struck by how present she was, how she held the space, how she connected with the audience without ever breaking the truth of the character. It meant so much to witness her in this moment, commanding the stage with such confidence and emotional depth. This wasn’t just a performance to watch, it was something to feel, and Nicola’s performance is one I will never forget.
