Jaya is it weird that I have always shiped perrie with louis? I've always wanted her with him instead of zayn
NO it’s NOT and i hope you don’t mind me publishing this publicly but I LOVE THIS SHIP and let me tell you why:
louis and perrie have always had very similar personalities and everything like that, they’re both not afraid to be weird or to be kooky and so they obviously get along in that respect. it’s also why i’ve always really liked the both of them, since that’s 100% my personality too and I know I’d get along great with either of them.
usually people that wild tend to like someone more calm and stoic to balance them out, which is why zerrie and zouis were such great relationships because someone like zayn is very much the sit-back-and-watch type 90% of the time while perrie and louis would be loud and ridiculous but zayn could also be silly so it all balances out quite nicely.
but i like to look at the opposite side of it, which is when two people have such similar personalities that being in a relationship brings out other sides of them. for example, i’m ridiculously loud and whatnot, but when i’m in a group of people like that, i automatically assume a Mom role and I’m taking care of everyone. it chills me out to be like that. a great example of this is ziam: both liam and zayn are much more chilled out, were always quieter than the other boys, which is what brought them closer together, but when you look at the two of them with each other, you see zayn coming out of his shell so much more as well as liam being more rowdy and silly, both things they didn’t do as much when it was the five of them together. going along with that, i’ve always thought that perrie and louis would do a similar thing. I feel like they’d calm each other down and help each other evolve emotionally in certain ways, and their similar thought processes would lead to less fights, more fun adventures, and generally getting along very well and being best friends aside from romantic partners
