Last Saturday, my parents and I went to a Poutine Festival near Place d’Orléans. Obviously, we got ourselves some poutine, while dad got a BBQ Beef poutine from Smokin’ B&R’s (I had a bite and it was smoky and meaty in a tasty kind of way, I got myself a General Tso’s Chicken Poutine from The Great Canadian Poutinerie. The fries were topped with fried chicken and green onions, and all of that was drizzled in tangy, sweet, and spicy sauce. It was a little filling, so dad had a few bites (but not too many since… health issues). It was a bit of a short visit, but outings be that way.
